We had a fantastic romantic escape at this cozy hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the powerful showers and the complimentary tea and coffee in the well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet part of town but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and pubs. Being able to securely store our bikes and having repair tools available was an added bonus.

That our attic room didn't have a blind for the Velux window, which meant that it got quite bright in the morning. However, this was only a minor issue and didn't detract from our overall enjoyable experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Wayfarers Independent. The friendly receptionist provided us with all the information we needed about the hostel and the local area. The spacious and high-standard rooms were perfect for our group of 8 cyclists. We were impressed by the ample cycle storage and the wide range of cycling tools and accessories available. This place comes highly recommended for both cyclists and tourists.

Excellent stay at C2C 7 - 28/09/18! The reviews were accurate; the rooms and beds were clean, and the showers were great. The bike storage was a plus, with tools for repairs. The continental breakfast for £4 hit the spot. The location was ideal, just a 5-minute walk from the High Street. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. a fantastic experience!

The hostel is conveniently located near the railway station and main bus station, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are all well-equipped and in spotless condition, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hostel also offers clear instructions for check-out and has a friendly owner who goes above and beyond for guests, such as rescuing lost items and providing mobile holders and chargers at each bed.

It would have been more preferable for me as an older lady to have shared my dormitory with female guests only.

Simon took great care of us and our room and facilities were clean and well-maintained. The bunks were spacious and comfortable, with slanting steps for easy access. The room had good natural light and amenities such as USB charging points and individual reading lights. The location was convenient, close to the train and bus stations and the town center. The hostel also had a well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant garden. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely book here.
